The APEC Summit will be keynoted and convened by Secretary of State Clinton. The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) is the premier economic forum in the Asia-Pacific Region. APEC fosters growth and prosperity by facilitating economic cooperation and expanding trade and investment across the region. The Summit will bring together senior private and public sector officials and delegates from 21 economies for a dialogue on fostering women's economic empowerment among APEC economies.
