You’re invited to the Small Business (SB) Shared Interest Group (SIG) May Program.
We’re gearing up for the Federal Government’s end of spending year for FY 2010. Gloria Berthold Larkin, President of TargetGov, has worked with businesses of all sizes, ensuring they are well positioned to win the work they are seeking with the largest buyer of products and services, the federal government. Come listen to her discuss the challenges faced by small businesses when competing in the federal market place.
Ms. Larkin is author of "The Veterans Business Guide: How to Build a Successful Government Contracting Business” and is an expert author with articles regarding business development published in local, regional, national and international publications. She has spoken at international, national, regional and local conferences including the Middle East North Africa (MENA) Business Women’s Summit, the Annual OSDBU Procurement Conference and the Annual National Veteran’s Conference.
Additionally, Shawna Peterson, a CO at Customs and Border Protection - DHS, will provide the government perspective of this endeavor pursued by small business.
Visitors can access the lobby from the visitor elevator, and then head to the 3rd floor for Qwest Security desk. From there you will be escorted to the 2nd floor conference room (2-B).
