Women and Technology Today Training 235: Social Media:
Pay-Per-Click Ads to Grow Your Business
Tuesday, December 20th at 11:30am ET/8:30am PT
Pay-per-click (PPC) is an Internet advertising model where advertisers pay only when the ad is clicked by a visitor. Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn all offer versions of this model, and it can be a very effective advertising method when used correctly with the right audience. Depending on the network you choose, ads can be targeted at very specific audiences based on interests, demographics, or search terms & keywords. Of course, since you're paying every time someone clicks, it can also be very costly and ineffective if you're targeting the WRONG audience or using poorly selected keywords.
In this webinar, WIPP Social Media Co-Chair Marisa Smith will give you an overview of pay-per-click marketing for LinkedIn, Facebook and Google AdWords, how to select the right channel for your business, and how to measure the return on your investment!
Course Instructor: Marisa Smith is Founder and President of The Whole Brain Group, an Ann Arbor, Michigan based firm that specializes in integrated digital marketing solutions for business, education and non-profit organizations. Marisa's growing 12-person company provides consulting in social media strategy & execution, search engine optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, and user experience design for web & mobile applications.
