Winning a Government contract is a combination of many things. One of the most important parts of the bidding process is the audit performed by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). In this webinar, you will learn how to develop and maintain compliant internal controls including the accounting system. This is the first thing that DCAA reviews in their audits. You will also learn what DCAA looks for in an audit and how to prepare for the audit. Much of the audit is comprised of verifying that you have compliant and adequate internal controls and accounting system to accumulate, allocate, and report Government costs. It also is comprised of you verifying your basis for your pricing. In addition, you will learn how to maintain compliance for other DCAA audits after winning a contract.
