On Wednesday, May 6, 2015, the Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber's (BWCC) Women in Business will host their 3rd Annual Women in Government contracting Forum. Women business owners from all professional levels will converge and receive insight on the state of women-owned small businesses and how to expand their government contracting opportunities. The BWCC's 3rd Annual Women in Government contracting Forum: The State of Women-Owned Small Business will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, 8a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) 14501 Switzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707.
The Forum will begin with opening remarks from Kallyann Few, CEO, Earthlite Management Strategies followed by keynote speakers Gloria Larkin, President, TargetGov and Courtney Fairchild, President, Global Services. The keynote speech will focus on small business contracting trends and growth opportunities. Panel discussions will center around women-owned small businesses-barriers, best practices, rapid growth and big ideas for navigating the government contracting arena. Sharon Pinder, CEO, Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council, will deliver a power moment on Leadership and the Power of Women.
