What Matters to Older Workers Infographic
More baby boomers want to work longer and as demographics change, employers are seeing the value of retaining and hiring workers over 50. AARP’s newest infographic (http://blog.aarp.org/2013/06/28/what-matters-to-older-workers/) shows what’s important to 50+ workers, and how award winners of AARP’s 2013 Best Employers for Workers Over 50stack up in terms of offerings. Flexibility topped the list of what matters — and that’s something that’s also valued by all generations. Visit www.aarp.org/bestemployers to learn more about the Best Employers for Workers Over 50 awards program.

AARP recently launched an updated version of its Employer Resource Center – www.aarp.org/employers. This online resource includes information for employers about recruiting and retaining experienced workers, employer best practices and trends for working with older personnel, and more.
