Our Special Speaker and Topic is

& Presentation on
Women Serving on Non-Profit & Corporate Boards
How to Lead, Elevate Your Position
Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire and Alison Davis
Corporations are beginning to understand the importance of having women's perspectives on their boards, as well as a part of their executive leadership. Studies have also shown that companies with women on their boards outperform companies whose boards have no women. However, even in light of these profound findings, only 16% of Fortune 500 Board seats are held by women.

Join us for this informative panel on why women business owners should aspire to serve on corporate boards, how to navigate their first board position for both non-profit and private companies, how it can be financially beneficial, and the steps women can take at all stages of their business journey to win the "board game."
Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire

Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire provides critical advice for women navigating to their first board position, as well as how companies can recruit the best female board candidates. As the co-founder of Berkhemer Clayton, Inc., she specializes in senior level searches in communications, investor relations, and board positions for corporations, universities and nonprofits.Betsy Berkhemer-Credaire will be officiating and signing her book "The Board Game".
