You Are Cordially Invited to Breast Cancer in the Workplace, An Interactive Discussion for Employers
Wednesday, October 1, 2014
Did you know that cancer impacts some 40% of Americans? Three million of the 12.5 million Americans dealing with cancer are active in our workforce. Disease-related expenditures and lost productivity cost employers billions of dollars annually. According to a recent brief issued by the National Business Group on Health, costs are projected to increase significantly, while the vast majority of employed people who are diagnosed with cancer continue to work through at least part of their treatment.
The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (GBCCF) is proud to bring together an esteemed panel of experts to discuss the impact of breast cancer in the workplace and employer best practices for supporting employees and managing costs. Please join us!
