Fellow WIPP members,

Every holiday season my company, Interos Solutions, donates to a variety of charitable organizations, as I truly believe in giving back as part of the culture of my company.  Among other organizations related to supporting our Veterans and providing food to local residents in need, one organization we support is Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) (,  national nonpartisan public policy organization that advocates for and on behalf of women in business who create, sustain, and lead companies just like Interos. As you know, WIPP partners with like-minded individuals and small business organizations to add to the collective voice on Capitol Hill and to engage in the legislative processes of our nation to create and enhance economic opportunities.  WIPP's Economic Blueprint includes improving access to capital for women-owned businesses, as well as addressing national policy issues related to economic principles, procurement, healthcare and others which impact US women-owned businesses.

I have been honored to be the Chairman of the Board for WIPP the past 4 years and I have been a member of the organization for 10 years. Two weeks ago, that honor was kicked into another gear as I was asked to become President of WIPP International (website coming), launching a new partnership with the United Kingdom on November 19th.  This partnership brings WIPP's successful US-based methodology to many British women business owners, who had not yet joined together to create a strong collective voice to their government.  WIPP and WIPP International are already planning to build on this new relationship to cross over into the other European Union nations.  The potential to positively impact millions of women business owners and entrepreneurs, as well as improve the direct economic benefit to millions of their fellow citizens is incredible.  The press release announcing the launch can be found at  - WIPP Forms International Organization To Empower Women Business Owners Worldwide.

Research has shown that when women are allowed to have an impact on the global economy - as business owners, in the C-Suite, on Boards - other negative situations are drastically reduced including rape and abuse, poverty, hunger, increased health care costs.   The children in the home see their mother as an equal to their father - little girls see the possibility of what they can do and little boys see the type of woman they could marry and how to treat them.  It breaks the cycle of negativity and replaces it with a world of hope and achievement.

I share this honor with you because, along with being thankful during this holiday season for what we have be given, giving back is core to the culture of Interos and to WIPP.  We should all be proud of organizations like WIPP and WIPP International, and others that we support in our companies and individually. They, along with our support, are dedicated to improving the U.S. and global economies and strive to make the world a better place for so many that need help today, while building a strong foundation for many years to come.  The legacy we leave behind is limitless and it is ours to decide.

I wish you and your loved ones the happiest and healthiest of holiday seasons,

Jennifer Bisceglie
