Go Fish: How to Catch (and Keep) Contributors A Fundraising Course
with G.W. University Professor and Author
This special twelve week course is normally only offered through G.W. University's Graduate School of Political Management so we are very fortunate to be able to bring it to you this winter and offer it at a far lower rate!
In this twelve week course participants will be given homework assignments which will be graded and returned, including a final project to create a fundraising plan for your organization or cause. Topics covered by the instructor and special guests from industry will include:
Relationship fundraising and the importance of storytelling
How to ask for money -- even if you hate to
Working with a Finance Committee/Board to reach goals
We will once again produce the conference this fall. Dates are contingent on hotel availability and we are still working on finalizing space. We have a fabulous new theme this year "The Modern Advocate" featuring lots of practical information and useful take-a ways. We are also planning to switch to a more classroom style format with instructors rather than panelists presenting in three streamlined tracks: State & Federal Government Relations, Advocacy and Outreach and Communications and Public Affairs. Please plan to participate and stand by for details as they develop or check our website at www.womeninadvocacy.com
