Dear WPO Family,
This week marks the official launch of our newly redesigned WPO website, which focuses on improved user experience, ease of navigation and multi-platform accessibility. One of the key features of the new WPO website is a streamlined annual conference registration process. Many thanks to WPO Seattle member, Rebecca Lyman of The Garrigan Lyman Group for making this happen.
This year's conference, "Innovative Ideas for Today and Tomorrow," will be held at The Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix, April 30th to May 2nd. This year's list of renowned keynote speakers includes Cheryl Bachelder, CEO of Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., Genevieve Bell, Director of User Experience Research at Intel Labs, Reshma Saujani, Founder & CEO of Girls Who Code and Marina Gorbis, Executive Director, Institute for the Future. Registration is now open. Please log in as a member on the homepage to receive the discounted member rate of $400. Do not create a new account.Click here for instructions on how to register. If the system does not recognize your email address, please email Phoebe Hutchins to have it changed.
When registering, be sure to provide us with your twitter handle, as we will be launching a social media campaign in conjunction with this year's conference. Be sure to follow us at @WomenPresidents for announcements and updates. We encourage you to tweet about the conference and use the hashtag #WPOConf to help us build the "buzz."The conference schedule is available on the website.
The WPO is continuing our international expansion with several new chapter launches in the first quarter of 2015, including Australia, Israel, Johannesburg II, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Mexico. We will maintain our domestic growth trajectory as well, with launches in: South Eastern Michigan; Saratoga, NY; Wilmington, Delaware; Essex, NJ; Houston; Minneapolis; and Charleston, SC. Please contact Bari Ray if you know of any qualified women in these areas.
Finally, be sure to sign up for an important WPO webcast underwritten by our corporate sponsor, Chubb, on the critical topic of Cyber Security. The webcast will take place on Wednesday, February 11th at 12 PM EST. Click here to register.
