Issues include: an increase to $350 million on certain Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) lending (S. 552); capital access for veterans (S. 957); teaming and joint venture requirements for certain contracts (S. 958); small business development centers (S. 999) and the SCORE program (S. 1000) reforms; authorization levels for general business loans for FY 2015 and 2016 (S. 1001); extend the low-interest refinancing provisions under the Local Development Business Loan Program (S. 966); and make public information on SBA covered loans (S. 967). WIPP’s government relations team is currently reviewing all legislation for its impact on women entrepreneurs.
