House Vote Likely on Permanent Internet Tax Ban

The House is likely to consider the Permanent Internet Tax Freedom Act (PITFA).  PITFA permanently bans taxes on internet access with the intent of keeping the internet affordable for American citizens this week.  A current ban will expire at the end of FY15 (October). The bill has been passed with strong bipartisan support in previous years.
