Dear Jason,

This June, we celebrate the heritage that helped build our country and the diversity that continues to fuel our greatness.

Walmart is pleased to be a partner ofWelcome.us, a website designed to recognize the second annual Immigrant Heritage Month. Welcome.us spotlights stories of individuals, families and communities who make up the unique social fabric of our nation.

To further the celebration, we are airing a 30-second PSA in over 500 Walmart stores on our checkout TV's throughout the month of June.

View the extended version of the PSA below and learn more at Welcome.us:

A man looks up at the Statue of Liberty off in the distance.
With over 1.3 million associates from diverse backgrounds employed across the United States, many of our associates have their own story to share. One is from Bolortseteg "Bogey" Say, an associate who emigrated from Mongolia after marrying her husband. Bogey came to the U.S. with a background in retail but was afraid to apply for a job at Walmart as it would expose a major hurdle: she didn't speak English.

Determined to learn and succeed, she set a goal of being promoted every two years. To her surprise, this happened. She's now the store manager of a supercenter in Haines City, Florida.Learn more about Bogey's story on our blog.

Bogey's work ethic is what makes her stand out and it's this country's determination to learn and succeed that we support during Immigrant Heritage Month.

Sincerely,
