I'm excited as May unfolds that we're taking time here at Walmart to reflect on the many outstanding achievements made by Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders throughout our company.

In celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I want to especially thank our many friends, colleagues and associates across the AAPI community. Each of you has been vital in helping us build our awareness and understanding of the unique needs and issues of our diverse and distinct AAPI communities. It is all of you who have encouraged me and my colleagues to continue to learn, grow and build upon our progress.

At Walmart, our leaders and associates are also doing their part to highlight AAPI heritage throughout the year. In a few months, Walmart President and CEO Doug McMillon will kick-off a conference of AAPI civic, business and nonprofit leaders at our Home Office that will focus on storytelling, team building and innovation to inspire our associates of all backgrounds about the growing AAPI communities we are privileged to serve.

Walmart store manager and Mongolian native Bogey Say recalls the importance of having inspiring mentors and access to training programs in a blog post shared onWalmart Todayearlier this year.Watch her story.

I hope you will continue to be our guides, our trusted advisers and our teachers during this month and throughout the many years before us. It is an honor to work with you.

Respectfully yours,
