This month we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recognized with the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, King was the youngest person to receive the prestigious award for his work to end racial segregation and discrimination through non-violent methods. Dr. King, a hero for all Americans, changed forever the social and political landscape in America.
January is a time of reflection on past progress and future efforts. It is a time to rededicate ourselves to building an America where all are treated equally, where every American has full and equal participation in our democracy, and a voice that counts.
WIPP takes this time to recognize such one of America's strongest advocates of free speech and equal opportunity for all.
