WBENC President & CEO Says WBENC To Set Records for Number of Certified Woman-Owned Businesses
WBENC to increase WBENC certified woman-owned businesses to more than 10,000 by opening day of 11th annual Women in Business National Conference and Business Fair, June 22-24, in Baltimore, MD
The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) has announced its 2010 Women in Business National Conference and Business Fair (WIB2010), June 22-24, in Baltimore, MD. The largest event of its kind for Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) and the worldwide corporate community, WIB2010 will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center and Hilton Baltimore Hotel beginning on June 22 with a Kickoff Luncheon to include Keynote Speaker Sheila Johnson, CEO Salamander Hospitality, LLC, President & Managing Partner, WNBA Washington Mystics, and Partner, Lincoln Holdings.
WBENC President & CEO Linda J. Denny has set a goal for the organization and its 14 Regional Partner Organizations (RPOs) for 2010 to reach more than 10,000 WBENC certified woman-owned businesses in the US before opening day of its annual business conference.
"Certification is at the core of WBENC's mission and this year we will have the largest number of woman-owned businesses in our history certified and available to the world's corporate community to do business," said Denny. "Just in time for them to join us in Baltimore as we present one of our most ambitious national conferences and business fairs to date."
