Mary Schnack & Associates assisted The Coffee Beanery in Shanghai to put on a press conference for Jiu Qian Wine, located in the Guizhou Province in China. Jiu Qian Wine has been named the exclusive official rice wine of the 2010 World Expo to be held in Shanghai, China, from May 1 – October 31, 2010.

 

The wine will be featured at the UNDP (United Nations Development Program) DEVNET Pavilion. The 2010 World Expo is expecting 70 million visitors. A strategic partner of Jiu Qian Wine, the Coffee Beanery, Greater China, a US holding company, has invested in two major vineyards in Sandu County in the Guizhou Province in southwestern China, which boasts a traditional vintage wine culture.

 

"I have worked with other businesses wanting to do business in China, but this is our first client located in China so we are quite excited by this opportunity,” said Schnack. Schnack and Maria Xia, President of Coffee Beanery, Greater China, started Asia Business Connect two years ago. They represented Bermuda Tourism and Great American Cities in their outreach for China tourism.
