AT&T Nationwide Effort to Connect Expectant Mothers and Families with Healthy Baby Tips Via Texts
Thursday, March 11, 2010
AT&T is supporting a nationwide effort to help connect expectant mothers and families with weekly tips to support healthy pregnancies – and healthy babies – via text messaging. Women who sign up for the service by texting BABY (or BEBE for Spanish) to 511411 will receive free SMS text messages each week, timed to their due date or baby's date of birth.
We'd like you to spread the word about text4baby to organizations you work with. The best way for to involve them is by sharing information with their constituents as an Outreach Partner. Some ways to do this include:
- Adding text4baby information to website
- Including text4baby information in mailings, listserv or newsletter
- Displaying text4baby posters in facilities
- Promoting text4baby through public health or wellness campaigns
- Encouraging service use among employees
To learn about what some existing outreach partners are doing to promote text4baby, check out an on-demand webinar presentation that provides innovative examples of how current partners are promoting text4baby and ways to creatively promote this service to your own constituents.
