AT "50 POWERFUL MINORITY WOMEN IN BUSINESS” AWARD CEREMONIES
Parkersburg, WV April 1, 2010 Judy K. Sheppard, President of Professional Services of America, Inc., was recently honored at the "50 Powerful Minority Women in Business” ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Washington DC. As part of this award, Mrs. Sheppard will be featured on the cover of the May/June 2010 issue of the MEA Magazine. As well as being featured on the cover of the magazine, she was interviewed for a feature story in the magazine as well. This issue will be distributed during the MED Week Conference.
Judy Sheppard is the only woman from West Virginia to ever have won this designation.
As part of the award ceremonies, Mrs. Sheppard met with more than 300 local, national and regional government officials, corporate executives, Fortune 500 companies, members of the media, and political and community leaders.
"It was a great honor to be chosen to receive this award,” commented Mrs. Sheppard. "It was even more memorable to be the first woman chosen from West Virginia.”

Mrs. Sheppard is currently a voice for women of the State of West Virginia in Washington, DC. She is regularly sought out for her insight regarding many issues facing women business owners including healthcare, government contracts, and access to capital.
