A three-and-a-half day workshop to create and reinvigorate personal and business branding for business owners worldwide will be held March 31-April 3 in Santa Barbara, CA. Offeringan opportunity to revitalize a business's vision and gain clarity on themselves as a brand, the BRANDit workshop helps business owners achieve success through attaining a clear vision of their present strengths and future goals, identifying their passions, and creating a network of powerful business people to support them along their journey.
BRANDit will be hosted by Patty DeDominic and Mary Schnack, WIPP National Partners.
During the BRANDit workshop each participant receives group training as well as one-on-one coaching to clarify their company and personal visions. Participants also receive a marketing kit to introduce to prospective clients including professional head shots, an elevator speech, and video trailer.
BRANDit was started by entrepreneurs Runa Magnusdottir and Bjarney Ludviksdottir of Iceland, who also will be in Santa Barbara for the BRANDit workshop. Magnusdottir is certified as a business coach by the International Coaching Federation and the CEO and Founder of Connected-Women.com.Ludviksdottir will use her experience as acastingdirectorand co-owner of Eskimo Models, an Icelandic modeling agency, to capture each woman's personality via a new headshot, video trailer and press kit.
"The new marketing kits created by the BRANDit team are just incredible and speak to the value of this program,” said DeDominic, a strategic business coach. "According to Forrester Research, you are 53 times more likely to appear on page one of Google's search results with video on your website. Video raises click-through rates up to 200 percent.”
Participants at BRANDit don't only get their own professional video trailer, they also get personal headshots, and clear results from three power workshops related to who they are as a brand.
Schnack, President of Mary Schnack & Associates, will speak on A Brand Called You. "How do you transform yourself from "an ordinary business person” into a "powerful brand”? Through this presentation, participants will think unique, think independent, and step outside of their daily business mindset and get creative. The brand is YOU, YOU as a leader. It's more important than one may think,” said Schnack, a communications and branding expert that has been giving speeches and presentations worldwide for more than 25 years.
Participants will define a clear vision of their work passions through the Passion Test for Business workshop, presented by Magnusdottir and derived from the number one New York Times bestselling book,The Passion Testby Janet Bray Attwood and Christ Attwood.
"We are expecting business owners from all over the country to attend, including international participants,” said DeDominic. "Getaway workshops like BrandIt are becoming more and more popular. During the work day, you are answering the phone, dealing with an employee emergency, a family member's surgery, clients… But when you go offsite to do planning you get the big picture and can capitalize on the energy in the room. By getting away from your daily tasks, you can see things in a different light and get a more accurate reality of your strengths and weaknesses, rather than just a one-sided perception that the office is giving you that particular day.”
