Vacancy for Chief Compliance Officer at the Treasury

The Department of the Treasury currently has an opening for a Chief Compliance Officer position to serve in the office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Stability, Domestic Finance. The Office of Financial Stability (OFS) manages $170 billion in funds to promote stability and liquidity in the financial system.

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) provides executive leadership and oversight for the overall administration of the compliance function and manages and directs the compliance program within the OFS. The CCO further directs the creation and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, provides guidance and advice regarding compliance matters, and serves as the primary contact for controversial inquiries.

The deadline to apply is April 11, 2011.
