WASHINGTON, D.C.– U.S. Senator Kay R. Hagan (NC), a member of the Senate Small Business Committee, on Thursday will hold a minority owned small business round table at A10 Clinical Solutions in Cary, NC. Hagan is co-hosting the event with the US Small Business Administration’s Deputy Administrator Marie Johns to discuss business development, lending opportunities, and federal resources available for North Carolina’s minority owned small businesses.

Thursday’s North Carolina Minority Owned Small Business Round Table will be the 11th stop on Hagan’s North Carolina Back to WorkJobs Tour, which is taking Hagan across the state to focus on action and ideas that will get unemployed North Carolinians back on the job as quickly as possible.

On Monday, during her 8th stop on the North Carolina Back to Work Jobs Tour, Hagan announced a bill she is introducing that will reduce paperwork burden on small businesses titled the Small Business Common Application Act. Hagan made the announcement during a Small Business Regulatory Fairness Forum, which she also hosted with the SBA.
