|Get Connected, August 2015|
This month on August 26th we celebrated Women’s Equality Day, the anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment allowing women the right to vote. Fast forward to today, we have groups like WIPP and all of you who have harnessed the power of women for positive change. Though we have further to go, our willingness to work together in a coalition to advance women’s economic empowerment through business ownership has led to important successes. Thank you for your support!

This packet explains many of the unanswered questions that people have about meeting with their Senators or Representative like: Why you need to be an advocate, how to reach your legislator, how to make the meeting valuable, talking points on the issue of Access to Capital, and much more.
