Workplace Flexibility 2010 (, located at Georgetown University Law Center, is a campaign to support the development of a comprehensive national policy on workplace flexibility. Join us to learn how they define workplace flexibility and what policy solutions they recommend to expand access to flexible work arrangements.


Elizabeth (Liz) Watson is Legislative Counsel for Workplace Flexibility 2010. Liz focuses on development of commonsense policy solutions that work well for employers and employees. Previously, she was an employment attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP where she represented corporate clients on a range of labor and employment issues. Liz also worked as a Skadden Fellow, focusing on litigation and policy advocacy on behalf of low-wage workers and welfare recipients.


Corporate Voices for Working Families is the leading national business membership organization representing the private sector voice in the dialogue on public policy issues involving working families. Join us to learn about their recently released study, Innovative Workplace Flexibility Options for Hourly Workers (


John Wilcox is Deputy Director for Corporate Voices for Working Families. John is responsible for the internal operations of the organization as well as their family economic security work, which focuses on engaging the business sector on issues affecting lower-wage working families. John holds a J.D. and has worked for the nonprofit sector for the majority of his career, most recently as General Counsel to the Center for Policy Alternatives.
