Leveraging Our Seat at the Table

The last few weeks have been our own March Madness! As the new Congress started session, WIPP leveraged our established seat at the table to ensure we brought our member voices to the conversations that make a difference and the Members of Congress who matter.

Emphasizing three of WIPP’s policy pillars, the event focused on rethinking workforce development, increasing access to capital, and parity for women owned small businesses in federal contracting.

WIPP President & CEO Candace Waterman led the discussion that featured WIPP members, Lisa Renshaw and Rebecca Askew as well as National Women’s Business Council chair, Liz Sara.
