Winning with the Walmart Customer - April 18th!

Understanding the Walmart customer is key to growing your business at Walmart. Andy Barron, Executive Vice President, Softlines, will discuss how suppliers can win with the Walmart customer. In addition, he will give insight and perspective on how to win in Softlines categories.

James A. Barron is the executive vice president of the softlines division for Walmart U.S. He is responsible for driving merchandise strategies across every channel and leading a strong team of merchants focused on our home and apparel business.

Andy joined Walmart in 1993 and has served in many merchandising roles, including menswear and intimate apparel, automotive, toys, home entertainment and hardlines. He was promoted to senior vice president and general merchandise manager in 2004 and later became senior vice president and general manager of hardlines merchandising. In 2009 was named senior vice president over merchandise execution reporting to both the CMO and COO in Walmart US.
