Nominations are open for the 2014 Excellence in Advocacy Awards

The Professional Women in Advocacy Conference will host the second annual Excellence in Advocacy (EIA) Reception and Awards on November 20, 2014 from 5:30-7:30pm at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC. The nomination process is officially open at There are five award categories:Excellence in a Federal Issue Campaign, Excellence in a State Issue Campaign, Excellence in a Campaign for Women Serving Women, Excellence in Advocacy by a Veteran Practitioner and Excellence in Advocacy by an Up and Coming Practitioner. Nominees and reception attendees do not have to be conference participants, but they must be women, and they must work in the advocacy field in some capacity. You may nominate a single person or a team that has worked together to achieve the purposes of the award. The form is quick and easy to fill out but hurry, because nominations will close in justthree short weeks.
