World Celebrates International Women's Day With #MakeItHappen
Sunday, March 8th was the 104thInternational Women's Day, an annual celebration of women's achievements and a call for greater gender equality. This year's theme,#MakeItHappen, went beyond raising awareness of women's issues to emphasize the action that we'll all need to take to move the dial. The event was marked bymarches in cities around the world,celebrity social media posts, and several outletsreminding usthatyes, we definitelystill need this holiday.

No Ceilings Report Shows We're #NotThereYet
In apresentation to a packed crowd(that included us!) at Times Square's Best Buy Theater on Monday, Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Melinda Gates shared the initial findings ofNo Ceilings: The Full Participation Project, a Clinton Foundation initiative to create a data-driven analysis of the gains women have made globally in the last 20 years. Thefull reportcontains 850,000 data points on women's health, education, and political and economic empowerment, but the big takeaway, as described by TIME Magazine, is that"women have taken two steps forward, one step back."In the run-up to the report's release, women's photographs weretemporarily removed from billboards and magazine coversto highlight the fact that we're"not there yet"- full equality is still a ways away. Lean In Wants Men And Women To #LeanInTogether

On Thursday, Lean In announced its biggest 2015 initiative yet:Lean In Together, both acase for why men benefit from gender equalityand a call for men to join the fight by busting gender stereotypes and supporting the women in their lives.NBA and WNBA stars are getting in on the action, with a PSA that includes appearances from LeBron James, Skylar Diggins, and Stephen Curry. Hey, LeBron ispretty good at selling basketball shoes- let's hope he can sell men on equality as well.
