myRA®has officially launched!

It's official. Today we are proud to introducemyRA following a pilot phase that provided individuals the opportunity to start saving through payroll deductions. Starting today, we are spreading the word far and wide aboutmyRA and itsexpanded funding optionsso that more people can start saving for retirement.

myRA account holders can continue to fund their accounts from their paychecks, but now they also have the option to do so from a personal checking or saving account, and from their federal tax refund at tax time.

Open enrollment season provides a great opportunity to speak to employees about retirement savings options and planning for the future.myRA can easily fit into these discussions. Employers can help their employees start saving for the future by introducing them tomyRA.myRA is a good option for those employees who don't have access to a retirement savings plan — including part-time, seasonal, and temporary workers. Although employees can open an account at any time of year, the open enrollment period is a great time to talk aboutmyRA.
