Help Us Educate Our Next President on the Challenges Faced by Women Business Owners

Our political process is at work again this year with the 2016 Presidential election. This campaign season has been particularly spectacular but as a women business owner we know you’re busy running your business.  We understand if the last thing you have time for is focusing on a bunch of politicians running for President. Perhaps you are of the mindset, like most Americans, that no one can seem to get anything done in Washington and they certainly haven’t been helping you, your family or your business.

We hear you! While the decision of who to vote for in the 2016 Presidential election seems far away and not as critical as the onslaught of day-to-day responsibilities, our next President is one of those candidates we see every night on the news. Thus, WIPP wants to ensure that they are hearing the voice of women in business and understand the challenges that you face in your business.

WE Decide 2016, a partnership between WIPP and the data relationship company, Personal BlackBox (PBB) along with leading business organizations, is working to mobilize thousands of women in business to raise their voice this election season. As a WIPP friend and member, we need your help to hit our initial goal of 500 women in business participating and responding to WE Decide 2016 polls & surveys to begin releasing results to the 2016 presidential candidates and the media.

WE Decide 2016 engages women in business in the 2016 election by providing them with an opportunity to privately share their opinions on issues impacting their business through our unique online platform.  As a women business owner, you can visit the WE Decide 2016 website – – and sign up to access your own personal polling station to confidentially take quick polls on hot topics from the campaign trail, respond to in depth issue surveys, and participate in our “Tell Us!” section to express your unique perspective on the challenges you face.
How You Can Help

  1. If you haven’t signed up for your WE Decide 2016 personal polling station, please do so here:
  2. Please take the time to respond to the quick polls, issues surveys and Tell Us! questions in your personal polling station. We know your time is valuable, thus we encourage you to make multiple visits to participate and stay up-to-date with new poll questions and surveys.
  3. Participate in our weekly Twitter chat held on Thursdays from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EST.  Simply use the hashtag #WEDecideChat to participate.
  4. Visit WE Decide 2016 on Facebook or Twitter and spread the word by sharing our posts and tweets.

When you respond to polls & surveys via your personal polling station, your feedback will be included in media releases, shared with candidates and be part of WE Decide 2016’s Women in Business Priorities report released in June. Participate Today!

We are pleased to have organizations like the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council), The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE), the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) and many more organizations working together on WE Decide 2016.  If you are an organization that has women business owners as part of your network, please consider signing on to become a WE Decide 2016 Supporter

The media, political pundits and candidates think they know what women want, but we are not so sure. That's why we created WE Decide 2016 - to give women in business a platform to share their individual opinions, wants, and needs to raise our collective voice and educate our next President on what is most important to us.  Join us in our efforts!
